kings-landing: King's Landing, Toronto, Ontario Designed 1981 Associated Firm- Cowle & Martin The King's Landing and Spadina Quay project was the winning entry in a developer-architect competition for the first new construction at Harbourfront, the Federal Government's park along the waterfront in downtown Toronto. The residential units are south facing to avoid the noise of the expressway and have terraces and solaria overlooking the water. In addition to residential and retail areas, King's Landing houses 5,000 square metres of Harbourfront space to accommodate ongoing cultural programs including a museum, an art gallery, and a multi-purpose conference hall and exhibition area.
