Stein Clinical Research Building, University of California, San Diego, California, USA

This 100,000 square foot building is located on the San Diego campus creating a sympathetic fit between the existing School of Medicine and the Veterans Administration Hospital. It houses medical research laboratories, as well as space for the Institute for Research on Aging.
Part of the project included a master plan for an additional 200,000 square feet of future research space. The final build-out will result in one of the largest university medical research complexes in the US.
